Y2K Drive By Wire GIAC Chip Tested!
Here is our latest dyno run of the GIAC chip for the Y2K Jetta Drive By Wire GLX. We cooled and strapped our test car onto the dyno and then ran some baseline runs. Still strapped to the dyno, we then removed the ECU and installed the awaiting performance G-Chip. The next few runs definitively showed what we were expecting to see. The results were huge torque gains across the board with a maximum peak torque gain of 12 ft-lbs over stock. Horsepower gains showed up to +8 HP also across the board with a final +4.3 HP at peak.
We wish it was always that easy to make power. The GIAC chip is an excellent product. Here at DynoSpot, we don't sell #'s, we just show them :-)
